Will I have to get up & down on the floor?
No. Of the specializes programs, over 130 of the 150 have NO FLOORWORK. The daily movement challenge routines all have ZERO FLOORWORK. For any of the programs that do have floorwork they are either performed entirely from the floor so do not require getting up & down or modifications are provided.
How physically demanding are Better5 programs?
Better5 programs are rated gentle/easy. All programs are designed specifically to be doable for older adults. Modifications are typically provided for any exercises that may be more challenging; however most older adults will find nearly all of the programs to be short, gentle & manageable for what your body is currently capable of.
Do I need intense fitness equipment?
No. Most classes use minimal equipment and many use only your body weight. Depending on the class, you may also need: A chair, mat, small yoga block (or stack of books) a set of light dumbbells (1-3 pounds), a resistance band and a foam roller.
