WONDERFUL and Fun Class!

This is one of my favorite Better5 classes (and that's saying a lot!). Maria is a wonderful instructor, and I especially love the Brain Teasers that she has us doing at the beginning and end of each class. If you don't know what a Brain Teaser is, it's a simple exercise that challenges your brain a bit. A common one that many people have tried is rubbing in a circle on your belly with one hand while patting the top of your head with your other hand. For me, the fact that I pretty much always have some improvement by the end of the lesson is a reminder that exercise affects and improves more than just our muscles and our bodies: exercise also helps our brains, and this is especially important as we age! All of these classes are short - around 15 minutes - and fun. There are just 7 lessons in this course, but I like them so much, I do them again and again. They've helped with my balance and coordination, and also with my general sense of well being. Maria is so cheerful in her approach, that she makes all of these a lot of fun. This is a great course!
